बिहार वेटलिप्टर ऐसोसिएशन के तत्वाधान में आयोजित प्रतिभा खोज प्रतियोगिता अंडर 13 के चयन को लेकर बिहार वेटलिप्टर एसोसिएशन पटना के अध्यक्ष अरूण केशरी, उपाध्यक्ष राजीव कुमार, प्रशिक्षक रंजीत मिश्रा, मुकेश कुमार, राजेंद्र कुमार के साथ रविवार को कटिहार पहुंचे। वेटलिप्टर ऐसोसिएशन के अधिकारियों ने गुलदस्ता देकर अभिवादन किया। प्रतिभा खोज प्रतियोगिता अंडर 13 वर्ष 2022 को लेकर पटना से आये पदाधिकारियों को नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस क्लब में प्रशिक्षण पाये बच्चों ने टाइलेंट दिखाया। बच्चों ने वेटलिप्टिंग में स्नैच एवं क्लीन एंड जर्क का बेहतर प्रदर्शन किया। इस मौके पर बिहार वेटलिप्टिंग एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष अरूण केशरी ने कहा कि प्रतिभा खोज प्रतियोगिता को लेकर ऐसोसिएशन ग्रास लेबल पर कार्य कर रही है, जिसमें दस वर्ष से लेकर 13 वर्षो तक के बच्चों में वेटलिप्टिंग खेल को लेकर रूचि जगे, जिसके लिए बिहार ऐसोसिएशन जिला भारोत्तोलन संघ के माध्यम से बच्चो तक पहुंचकर उसे वेटलिप्टिंग खेल को लेकर प्रेरित करने का काम कर रही है। जिला स्तर पर वेटलिप्टिंग में रूचि रखने वाले वैसे बच्चों को प्रशिक्षित किया जा रहा है, जिसके बाद इन बच्चों का वेटलिप्टिंग प्रतियोगिता होगी। जिसमें सफल बच्चे अपने जिले का नाम रौशन करेंगे, उसके बाद वह बच्चे अपने जिला का नेतृत्व करेंगे। जिसमें सफलता के बाद वह राज्य स्तरीय गेम में अपने जिले का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। जिसमें सफलता मिलने के बाद नेशनल एवं अंतराष्ट्रीय खेलों में बेहतर प्रदर्शन कर देश को गौरवांवित करायेंगे। वाघिर्मम मे आयोजित राष्ट्रमंडल खेल में भारत ने भारोत्तोलन में दो मैडल जीतकर अपने देश को गौरवांवित करने का काम किया है।
जिले के शहरी एवं ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के कुछ बच्चों ने वेटलिप्टिंग में अपना टाइलेंट दिखाया। जिस बच्चे में रड पकड़ने या फिर उसे जर्क करने में कुछ खामियां थी, पटना से आये कोच उसे प्रशिक्षित भी कर रहे थे. ताकि जिले के प्रशिक्षित बच्चे वेटलिप्टिंग में बेहतर कर सकें। प्रतिभा खोज प्रतियोगिता में शामिल हुए अंडर 13 में वीर कुमार, विकास कुमार, मो हासीम, आदित्य सिंह, आशुतोष सिंह, मिहिर सिंह, बिटटु कुमार, राहुल कुमार, अभिषेक कुमार, राम विलास कुमार, अमरजीत सिंह, सूरज कुमार, सुब्रत कुमार ने वेटलिप्टिंग में अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाया.
