How to Do Ashtavinayak Ganpati Darshan Yatra (Sequence)

Ashtavinayak Ganpati Darshan Yatra starts with the darshan of Mayureshwar Ganpati of Morgaon. Below is the information about the order in which Ashtavinayak Ganpati Darshan should be done. And the entire Ashtavinayak Darshan Yatra starting from Ganapati of Morgaon and returning to Morgaon in how many kilometers is given.

1) of Morgaon Mayureshwar Ganapati (0 km) {first day}

If you are starting Ashtavinayak Yatra from Pune or Mumbai then you have to go to Morgaon via Pune – Hadapsar – Saswad – Jejuri from Pune to reach Morgaon. From Hadapsar inland towards Saswad, the road is a bit bad. The distance from Pune to Morgaon is 68 km. is

In this temple premises of the beautiful Mayureshwar Ganapati, there is a Nandi which is large in size and magnificent. 25 km from the temple. Above is Jejuri and you can also have darshan of Khandoba. Jejuri should not be done during Ashtavinayaka Yatra if you want to complete the Yatra within 3 days.

2) Siddhivinayak Ganapati of Siddhatek (Morgaon to Siddhatek distance 70 km) [एकूण प्रवास = ७० कि.मी.]

To go to Siddhatek from Morgaon one has to come to Chaufulya i.e. Pune – Solapur highway. Route to Siddhatek Morgaon – Chauphula (Pune Solapur Highway) – Patas – Daund (City) – Siddhatek. This total distance is 70 km. And there is Bhima river near the temple. Now a train goes to the temple, earlier one had to cross the river by boat. 3) Ballaleshwar Ganapati of Pali (Siddhatek That Pali difference 240 km) [एकूण प्रवास = ३१० कि.मी.]

After starting from Siddhatek towards Pali, the journey is long, around 250 kms. Although the distance is long, the road is good and about 200 km. The distance is by highway. The route is as follows: Siddhatek – Daund (City) – Patus (Punesolapur Highway) – Pune – Yerwada – Mumbai Highway – Pune Mumbai Express Highway via Nigdi – Urse Cha Toll Gate – Khalapur Toll Gate From the left side of Pali Road – Pali.

After leaving the highway to go to Pali, you will experience beautiful nature on the way. If you are traveling during summer days, you will get to eat karavand on the way. You can stay in Pali where good accommodation is provided by the temple trust. And rooms are available at low cost.

4) Varadvinayak Ganapati of Mahad (Distance from Pali to Mahad is 40 kms) [एकूण प्रवास = ३५० कि.मी.] {second day}

After staying in Pali the distance is just 1 hour while going towards Varadvinayak Ganapati of Mahad. In the morning one will also have darshan of Ganapati of Mahad, this temple is simple and beautiful and one feels happy after having darshan of Varad Vinayak.

5) Chintamani Ganpati of Theur (Distance from Mahad to Theur is 125 kms) [एकूण प्रवास = ४७५ कि.मी.]

On the way back from Mahad towards Pune, coming back on the same road, there will be Lonavala, where you can shop etc. After coming straight from Pune to Hadapsar and then Pune Solapur highway, reach Theur from Theur fork. This distance is 125 km. This is the route of about 3 hours. Chintamani Ganapati Temple is situated in the palace. There is a big bell in the temple. This temple is beautiful and after visiting Chintamani you will get blessings of Chintamani to remove all your worries.

6) Girijatmaj Ganapati of Lenyadri (Distance from Theur to Lenyadri is 130 km) [एकूण प्रवास = ६०५ कि.मी.]

After leaving Theur Varun, follow this route to reach Lenyadri. Theur – Hadapsar – Yerwada – Mumbai Highway – Kasarwadi (Nashik Fata) – Narayangaon – After turning left from Narayan village, there is a road leading directly to Lenyadri. On the way you will have an ozar but without stopping there you should do the cave first. Girijatmaj Ganapati Temple of Lenyadri is situated in the form of a cave on a high hill.

Here you should leave your bags or bags in the car before going up the steps to the temple as there are monkeys up there. While going very far, carry a water bottle and food for the monkeys, they like to eat food. This place is very picturesque and you can experience the beauty of nature here. There is a palanquin facility here to take adults up.

After darshan of Ganapati you can make your second stay here. Accommodation is also good here. If you want AC room facility then you should stay at Ozar. Ozar is just 15 kms from here and the accommodation of Ozar’s temple trust is the best among all the Ashtavinayaka temples.

7) Vighnahar Ganapati of Ozar (Distance 15 km from Lenyadri to Ozar) [एकूण प्रवास = ६२० कि.मी.] {third day}

If you are doing 3 days Ashtavinayaka Yatra then this will be the last day of your Ashtavinayaka Yatra, you should get up early in the morning and have darshan of Vighnahar Ganapati of Ozar. It is better if you stay in Ozar itself, as you can find morning Ganesh aarti. This temple looks like a nice palace and the area is very scenic.

There is a nice lake near the temple, it feels very pleasant there in the morning. The whole temple area is very clean, here you will surely feel blissful after having darshan of Vighnahar Ganapati.

8) Mahaganapati of Ranjangaon (Distance from Ozar to Ranjangaon is 100 km). [एकूण प्रवास = ७२० कि.मी.]

After leaving Ozar, you have to head towards the last Ashtavinayak Ganapati Darshan Yatra i.e. Mahaganapati of Ranjangaon. The route is as follows, Ozar – Narayangaon – Rajgurunagar – Pabal – Shikrapur – Ranjangaon.

This inter route is about 100 kilometers and takes two and a half to three hours. Mahaganpati temple is just next to the highway where you can also have lunch. The temple premises are nice and clean.

of Morgaon Mayureshwar (Distance from Ranjangaon to Morgaon is 70 km) [एकूण प्रवास = ७९० कि.मी.]

From Ranjangaon now you have to go back to Morgaon to see Mayureshwar Ganapati. The distance from here to Morgaon is 70 km. The route is as follows, after starting from Ranjangaon, instead of going towards Shikrapur, go towards Shirur till Karegaon. Taking a right turn from Karegaon you will reach Chauphula – Shirur highway at Nhaware village. After coming here, go towards Chauphula. On this road you will first go to Chauphula and then Morgaon.
